Yipee!!! Have a great wedding!!! YOU LOVE STUD YOU!!!

The Nvidia looks like the best choice for you I live in the UK so don't know which places are good for buying stuff in the US... seems we have cheaper cards for some reason here When you get it here is a link for the vista driver:

http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/8...ernational.exe

Enjoy!!!

The heat has officially killed my card! I 'had' an ATI 9800pro... and until the heatwave this summer it worked brilliantly! But now... it's rotting from the inside out My 256mb has dropped to 202mb and it freezes in SOOOOOOO many games So I think I will grab an ATI x1600xt unless anyone has a better suggestion for £90?

Had a hard drive get blasted from the heat recently. Might want to get an extra fan while you're getting new stuff.

I was wondering, with AMD purchasing ATI and probably not longer mating ATI with Intel, will NVidia pare up with Intel? For those who like NVidia over ATI, I think there's bad news on both sides. First, I think NVidia is going to jack up prices as they stand a chance to being the dominant graphic hardware makers. ATI enthusiastic are going to have to switch to NVidia. Of course, it all depends on what AMD decides to do. As for NVidia, I think they’ll stand a better chance if they stay independent of Intel, as they can build for both, AMD and Intel systems.

I have had a Geforce FX5200 before in my old computer but i have just brought a ATI X600 for my new PC witch has PCI-E. The Ge force FX5200 served me well for applications and could run some games. It does work on vista but i cant remember what rating it gets but yeah i had no troubles Worth it. If u do happen 2 have a PCI-E slot i got my ATI X600 for £30 on ebay! they go quite cheap its a 256mb so its pretty good for a budget card.

Congrats on the upcoming nuptials, and unless you decide to become a gamer as you indicate you are not, I'd stick with ATI. There are also some virus issues with Navida Drivers, and I think the Poll at the beginning says it all. ATI!
