You probably won't believe this, but I'm going to tell a little story. On father's day my daughter's bought me an eMachines T6532 Desktop PC. When I got it, I took it out of the box and set it on the floor next to my desk. I've never really paid much attention to the label or stickers attached to the front,

Anyway, two days ago I decided to move the CPU from the floor to the top of my desk. But again, I didn't pay any attention to the label or sticker, although I get a better view than when the PC was sitting on the floor. As read some of the previous posts about the "Windows Vista Capable sticker" and about how to get the stickers, I glanced at my PC and to my surprise it has a "Windows Vista Capable" sticker (see picture I just took).

Knowing I received the PC as a father's day gift, it must have been build early in 2006, makes me wonder why we didn't hear much about a Windows Capable PC early this year. I knew about the Vista's requirements, but not about checking for the sticker.

I already hugged them big time. I told my youngest daughter about the Windows Vista Capable sticker, but for her it didn't mean anything.

On a PC manufacturer's website (Fujitsu-Siemens) a mini PC (same concept as Mac mini) was labeled as "Vista capable" but in a table about the manufacturer's product's compatibility, Vista premium was marked.
???
Could it be, because the PC "out of the box" has 512 GB RAM and Vista premium needs much more?

Mac Book and Mac Mini runs Vista perfectly

So, in a German Mac forum I heard something about Vista.
A member installed Vista Premium on his Mac Book and could enjoy the effects and says "Mac mini has similar components, so you will have the same success, if you have 1 GB RAM minimum"
Good news, when one wants a mini PC and the usual Mini PCs are too expensive.

Very cool. You have great daughters. You must have done many things right. We have great kids too. But, we had them so young that we just blundered through doing many things surprisingly well, but some not so good.
