Anyone running AVG free on 2 computers?

Hi again, yet another question...
Is it allowed, or does anyone here have AVG free or Avast free on more than 1 computer. When I hook up my router, my laptop will need AV, and if possible I would like a free one. Any suggestions??
(Couldn't figure out where to put this so security seemed best.)

It's allowed as long as it's for home use, not for business purposes. Both, AVG and Avast free edition get hight remarks as well.

On more than 1 computer? Right on! I'm glad there are good free alternatives, that don't hog system resources, and nag for renewals. Thanks for getting back to me.

AVG free certainly on more than one machine

I have a network of 3 machines (one is my work provided laptop) and on my personal machines (one is Vista, one is XP) I run AVG free on each.
Never any problems at all.

The only thing I find with the free edition is that it will not scan my NAS drive, each copy supports 'local' drives only. This is the only limitation I have found.

You can go to this website and find information that can help your free anti-virus program be more effective. It also lists some of the best freeware utilities available.
