Hi again, yet another question... Is it allowed, or does anyone here have AVG free or Avast free on more than 1 computer. When I hook up my router, my laptop will need AV, and if possible I would like a free one. Any suggestions?? (Couldn't figure out where to put this so security seemed best.) |

I have a network of 3 machines (one is my work provided laptop) and on my personal machines (one is Vista, one is XP) I run AVG free on each. Never any problems at all. The only thing I find with the free edition is that it will not scan my NAS drive, each copy supports 'local' drives only. This is the only limitation I have found. |

| You can go to this website and find information that can help your free anti-virus program be more effective. It also lists some of the best freeware utilities available. http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...tilities.htm#2

| You're very welcome; I'm glad you found it useful. It's been kept up-to-date, that's the best thing about it.
