Bug with USB Flash disk Security???

Hi,
I am trying to set DACL permission to my USB Flash Disk Drive (H.

I am able to successfully set the ACL in such a way that Only "System" have access to it. I have confirmed it by reading the security using GetNamedSecurityInfo.

However, after setting the DACL.. i am getting "Access Denied" error if i try to create a handle of (H drive using CreateFile..........

But very surprise to me, i am still able to open the H: drive just by double clicking on it and able to access the file.

I have performed same operation with a normal file on Vista machine... For a normal file its "Access Denied" always.

Can anyone point me what is wrong with Vista/USB/my method???

Regards,
Kumar
