| Has nothing to do with Vista. The hosting company's server was compromised (a Linux box), and all sites hosted on that server were hacked. The hosting company is working on the issue now.

| Wow what happed (Server was hacked I know) How did you get site back Dazzlin did you have to contact the evil hackers ps were the spam users related? PS me Crabby and AntCook were on Windows Live Messenger all worried. |

| Never fear, Josh. I keep current with backups, and if I needed to, I'd just move the whole site to some other server somewhere else. I'll never let Babble be down for any longer than absolutely necessary. And no, I don't think it was related to spam users.

| Well, at least Vista users are "safe." I think it was different on another site--malware.

| Yes i was waiting with a few other members on MSN, Josh was in a total panic lol poor guy who can blame him it did look serious for a minute, I admit i was a bit gutted when the site went down but i knew that Dazzlin was working on it and it wouldn't be to long before i would be posting again. So i think we owe a big thanks to the babble staff for getting the site going again  |
