Kaspersky and Azureus

Hey guys,

So installed Windows Vista Business edition and I am using Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0.2.614. For some reason, ever since I installed Kaspersky, I haven't been able to properly use Azureus. It works fine sometimes, and I have done all the appropriate port forwarding, but the NAT always shows red... even when kaspersky is closed or when anti-hacker is set to allow all. Any suggestions? I am not sure how to allow Azureus in Kaspersky, im new to this AV program.

Thanks

Welcome. We are glad you are here. But, sorry I can't help on your issue. I though you were talking about a major-league double-play combo. You know, short to second.

NAT errors usually stem from router firewall settings, becuase you reinstalled azureus its proberbly changed the ports so just reconfigure your router firewall to let the ports azureus is using. you should have setup the portsd during the azureus install, but you can get the numbers on the options menu if you forgot.

Nope I have set the ports to the one that I set on Azureus. Sometimes when I click Test it tests ok, and sometimes it fails. Its really weird because all this time kaspersky is set to allow all. Speeds are slow when Azureus is set to allow all and when its set on low security nothing goes through. I think Kaspersky needs a bit of tweaking but I can't find anyone who knows the stuff hehe, even tried their forums...

nope, thanks anyway That just shows me how to port forward on that specific router hehe. I know I correctly forwarded my ports because Azureus was working fine before I installed Kaspersky.
