Unhappy secpol.msc

I just download and installed Vista Build 5536 and want to change the security policy. From what I have read, you run secpol.msc, which I did, but I get the message that this is not available. Any suggestions on where secpol.msc is located and how to get it to run.

Go to Control Panel / System and Maintenance / Administrative Tools / Local Security Policy

secpol.msc

Nothing there. Found it in System 32 folder and ran it. MMC said it could not create the snap-in, so Vista must not have loaded properly.

Thanks for the help.

Hi wlkin,
Go to run and type (exactly) Control UserPasswords2 and enter.
Go to advanced , then edavnced again. select users/Administrator and enable the Admin account. Backout and restart your computer. You can now log in as Administrator which I believe will solve your predicament
