| I just download and installed Vista Build 5536 and want to change the security policy. From what I have read, you run secpol.msc, which I did, but I get the message that this is not available. Any suggestions on where secpol.msc is located and how to get it to run. wlkin |

| Go to Control Panel / System and Maintenance / Administrative Tools / Local Security Policy

Keep in mind though that this guide it intended for IT personnel or for someone who inspire to be more than just an end-user, or for inquire minds. The file does require download and installation to your HD.

| Hi wlkin, Go to run and type (exactly) Control UserPasswords2 and enter. Go to advanced , then edavnced again. select users/Administrator and enable the Admin account. Backout and restart your computer. You can now log in as Administrator which I believe will solve your predicament |
