Vista and Symantec Lawusit

Apparently Symantec recently filed a lawsuit against microsoft in regards to some security software infringement and/or issues. The blurb I saw just mentioned it would not delay the release of Vista, but beyond that I am not sure what the issue is.

Does anyone know what issue Symantec and Microsoft have in regards to security offerings?

It has something to do with Veritas, which MS licenses from Symantec in existing products, as well as the upcoming Vista. My guess is that MS will settle rather than delay Vista, but I guess anything could happen.

I found this interview with Symantec CEO John Thompson:

Quote:
eChannelLine: What about the Microsoft lawsuit?

Thompson: It's a difference of opinion. Steve (Ballmer) and I concluded that we agreed to disagree. It's just a little contract dispute. We think they made a mistake.
