| I have the same problem. I was denied to edit any files that on the network ie. other computer and networks storage. Other computer with XP can do everything, but my laptop with vista. I log on as admin. Quote:

| I've already shared all the folders on other computers. but my vista komputer is not allowed to edit, i can delete files and add files but I can not create folder and rename folders/files Quote:

| It appears you already have knowledge of file sharing, as you had it working before upgrading one PC to Vista. But just in case, here's a good article from MS about Win XP file sharing: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304040 |

| I was not upgrading, my vista computer was working fine to the network, but after I formated the computer(vista), when the problem came. Quote:

| Then run start --> cmd (run as admin) --> SFC /scannow this will test for any corrupte/missing system files... which apparently you have.
