I have been having several problem for quite a while when on board. 1. Sometimes I get duplicate posts for no obvious reason. 2. Often I can't reply if I hit the "Post Quick Reply" button. Eventually, I have to go to " Go Advanced" or to "Preview Post" before I can get my reply posted. Hitting the "Post Quick Reply" button several times to try to get things moving may be the reason I sometimes get duplicate posts. Is anyone else having these problems? Edit: Like I said only worse. LOL. I just got a duplicate even when creating a new topic.

| I have the same issue, but once I hit submit, I wait a few seconds and the click the Home button and in every case my post is there. If I press the submit button again, I get double posts.

| I just tried "post quick reply" in another thread and my computer just hung with the hourglass there. So I refreshed and went to the normal "Reply to Thread" and that worked. I wondered if the lenghthy pause on the quick reply was because the message was long. I have used quick reply before with no problem. Skelly |

| Might also be that several members are trying to quick reply to the same post at the same time. As for the dupes...all I can say is "cut back on the caffeine which might cause you to be double clicking" on the send button. ha ha just kidding. Skelly |

| Yesterday I thought the issue had to do with hackers intercepted at least three of the 13 computers that help manage the computer traffic. Though there's a possibility that we are still feeling the symptom today as well.

| Thanks felix and skelly. You are right though skelly; I could cut back on the caffine. I should have emphasized that I don't double click until waiting awhile for the progress bar to begin. And, unless accidental, I don't click again until it appears that the progress bar is not going to begin. Unless, I forget, this is the point at which I go advanced or preview post. Then, I am able to post, and the progress bar starts up quickly.

there was a survey once that said the average web user doesn’t wait more than 10 seconds for a page to load...unfortunately I’m in that average |
