Ive got vista OEM Ultimate on my one and only pc.. no dual boot with xp no more.. gone to vista all the way now!

I still have a dual boot, but definitely don't agree with the comment. I am surprised how many people I think of as being computer savy agree with the comment though--e.g. my wife. I can't get her to upgrade--not that it really matters. But, shoot both of us are entitled to educational upgrade prices--which, as I recall, run about $70 for Premium. Yep, $69.95 at my favorite academic software site: http://www.academicsuperstore.com/it...5&title=Vista.

A good poll has few questions.
What are some that we could use?
I doubt if this thread is a good place for a poll because it will become difficult to keep /store results... Long threads become monotonous and appear cluttered.

My main interest is in finding out about the levels of concern that individuals have about moving to Vista. And, given their concern levels, then I would like to know what safeguards they would take if they decide to move to Vista.

On the other side of the coin, I would like to know how concerned those who have moved to Vista think those that have not moved should be. And, I would like to know what precautions those who have moved to Vista took when doing so.

The questions needed to get at these issues comparatively will be difficult and, perhaps, should be pursued on different threads. I will be happy to provide input on questions if you decide to pursue this project. Please let us know.
