It's true that a small percentage of people put in more work than the majority anywhere. And our top posters are "tops" in many ways - both in quality and quantity. However, I appreciate every single post - even from users who only post once - well, except for spammers. I don't appreciate spammers who post. I would like to be able to nuke them more harshly than just a simple ban, but I guess that wouldn't be legal. LOL. Still, it would be great if more people posted more often, but I'm thrilled when I see anyone contribute at any level.

I ran one of the largest East Coast BBS's for 15 years (many Moons ago) I Know the feeling when anyone posts, especially when you run the board, or someone even replies to a post a user makes. To be frank, some of your spammers see the contest for free copy of Vista as a moth sees a flame, and while I applaud the attempt to generate users it can be mind bending dealing with stopping the idiots.

It's also part of running a board! Also take note that these "Forum Boards" regardless of what software is used, have far less control over users than the old BBS did and I was networked all over the USA as well as 4 other country's, and spammers/hackers could be dealt with because the BBS had the tools...Forum Boards do not. I shut down my own Web Site with Forum attached because of the lack of board control just recently because of it.

Each user is an asset to any Forum, regardless of quality or quantity, and I mean USER, so my quantity vs quality comment was morose humor (I'm half Sioux and half German) so you have to ignore me sometimes.

What is a good time to be on this forum?. I am a recent joiner. I have noticed that there are usually no more than 5 members viewing (including myself. extraordinary thing is they are always the same five! Yet somehow postings are amde by other (absent) members)

oh yeah the spam song.....hahaha good old Monty python. I dont really post often but i like to think what i do post makes a difference. I would post more but I'm a busy with work in the week and got a ton of things 2 do at the weekend. Anyways its a great community on here and everyone is so pleasant! all other forums i have been on...its like dog eat dog.....u get stuff like ha you idiot you spelt that wrong and stupid stuff

but on here its VISTA 24/7 question is when we have all got vista and have been using it for a while....what will we talk about then???

How long has XP been out, and we still talk about that, and I've still seen 95/98 being used and discussed. There will always be somthing new to talk about.

Since I have friends I chat with or forums in different countrys I frequent, I thought for those who need a really decent Time Zone Clock with a pile of other neat features that works with Vista would find this link and DL useful. Sits nicely in the tray, or as the attachment shows. Lots of features, and free.
