Exactly! That's what I mean by perspective. No two people can see something from exactly the same angle as we can only see from our own eyes.(and we form opinions based on our own backgrounds and ideas)
I've got to read that book. Excellent example of a paradigm shift.
As far as the three taboo topics I totally agree! I've seen it happen.

Yes thats quite an interesting extraction Felix, i don't know what i would do in a situation like that but i know i would feel very guilty.

and this next bit is to Josh

Josh the Crown Jewels were stored in my town during the second world war. we have the tunnel and an accommodation from the queen to prove it

Interesting about the Crown Jewels. ...and yes it's amazing how a person's thinking changes when all the facts are presented. How judgement can turn to guilt in the blink of an eye, once the facts are known.

I checked out an article that said they were even said to have been stored in Canada during the war. It seems like lots of stories exist on that one. Just an observation, I am not arguing with anyone as I have no real knowledge on that at all. I just thought ,being Canadian, that it was interesting.

That was the one! The first hit I got when I Googled it. No mention of Ant's town. That's why to me the subject seems open to speculation as more than one account exists, and only one can be true.

There is a book on our town history that i have and it says they were stored in a tunnel at over Saint Johns, but they were picked up and sent down the river weaver in fear that the tunnels would collapse in the event of a blitz attack.

So i think they were stored here at some point and i have actually seen the tunnel, of course its blocked off now.

next time i near it i will take a picture so u guys can check it out, the entrance is right underneath a statue.
