Pfft... I am an accountant working in the tax department here!

Our self assesment deadline was yesterday... And I find the time for the commuinty!

(Basically because I am a junior so none of the seniors have time to give me anything to do!

Heh, I'll trade jobs with you, crabby. You can do the taxes for the 120 or so people I do per day, and I'll twiddle my thumbs at your job.

I wouldn't trade for anything!

I have only been working for 8 months... I get 60 days off for training and 23 days off for holiday... my training is paid for me and costs approx $10,000 a year... and I get paid around $32,000!

Everytime I pass an exam I get $2,000 pay rise and $250 bonus... so will be netting about $50,000 and I am only 21

Admittidly... this is only £25,000 here... but still

LOL. I have taught Accounting at the university level, undergrad, masters, and Ph.D., for 39.5 years. I knew that the three of us had a bond beyond computers and VB.

Wow, that's amazing. I did taxes for 6 years and each "season" I still have flashbacks...lol. Crabby, you're lucky to get so many days off per year, that's one thing the Europe has over the states. I wish it was different here.
