Ahhh Fixed it just involved a quick Reg edit, Turns out coz i only have 512Mb of RAM and a small amount of is used by my Graphics chip that it wont let you run aero on RC2, but you can override this setting by following this guide

http://jo-san.it/blogs/windows_vista...0/10/5371.aspx

Lucky i ordered another stick of RAM this weekend, then i can finally say i beat the minimum requirements

Its A Reg Edit Josh mate, in basic terms windows is made up of a registry that holds information for Windows and Applications that u have on your computer, I'm Sure u already knew that but just incase....well anyways u can modify the registry to change settings in windows and applications, This tweak overrides the default setting in RC2 thats says if you have less than 512mb of RAM u cant use aero

Well, when you open regedit, you are provided with a 'tree' on the left-hand side... you just navigate through that. Each '/' in the guide shows a new 'branch', so I will take an example:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM\Composition set to 1 (32-bit DWORD)

(HKCU = HKEY_URRENT_USER)

So you would open HKCU... open Software... open Microsoft... open Windows... highlight DWM... in the right-hand box will show what keys are associated with DCM, select composition... edit it as necessary

Hope that helps a bit.
