Is there a plugin in Windows that'll work (in Linux the
"mplayerplug-in" or "mozilla mplayer" works at sites
demanding Windows Media Player)?

Many of us use FF. I haven't had the problem--perhaps until now. I went to you link and tried some video. I was told that I needed WMP 9.0 or higher and that such was not detected on my machine.

Right, that's what got me to ask the question here.. oh, well,
IE7 works just fine, but it's got a few vulnerabilities still (even
after a bazillion years in the making)..

Btw, this os is screaming fast now that I got the eye candy
off and am not using themes; that seemed to have been the
biggest tax on the old system I have here.. I can colorize all
I want to, but the Aero theme weighs a bit heavy for a 900Mhz
processor.
