Also just wondering are WDDM drivers Windows Device Manager drivers? And if i delete them do i just delete evry single driver on my comp and reboot.
I have deleted up to 3 and rebooted but not all of them.. so honestly have not idea if you could do all.

how do i update my os version?
Photoshop CS3 has absolutely no problems for me, but if u are 100% sure it does, ill remove it. Same goes for Ad aware 2007.
i Dont't think my BIOS has anymore updates. My motherboard is RS-400A by ECS and last update was 2005/10/29 version 1.0F

Apple Computer, Inc. - Bonjour Version 1,0,3,1 *
should be updated to 1.04 to be compatible.

Note: Ad-Aware 2007 is not Vista ready. All valid licenses will be upgraded to the Vista compatible version for free upon release.

It only takes 1 to screw thing up. and you have more than one.

You state you have Vista Ultimate, you can not update it further than that.

Vista SP1 is only for special ppl, and is not due to be released for a while.

Your mobo is very likely the main problem... It is not rated for Vista, and the Bios is rather out of date...

I already reinstalled vista once because of this problem and i really dont fill like doing it again unless it is my last option.
It could be the programs which are not 100% compatible with Vista... you have so many that unless you know in the correct order that you installed, so you could remove in reverse order, until the problem is corrected...

I found that by looking in the HCL listing I did not install any programs which are in question for Vista...

felix8406 will become famous soon enough

You may want to trace your issues back from the start…when you installed Vista. You mentioned that right after installing Vista, you noticed that it ran slower than when you had XP. That could be caused by many factors, but the main causes are RAM (as explained by Crabby) and driver issues, including the BIOS system. Concerning RAM, most issues are either not enough memory available for the OS or issues with the modules installed; that’s why I suggested checking your RAM using the Vista DVD.

The BIOS can be the cause of many problems. Manufactures provide updates to fix glitches that have been found after the mobo was manufactured, including its communication with other hardware. These updates should be installed preferably, for those upgrading from Win XP, before installing Vista. As for hardware drivers, I have installed Vista Beta, RTM, Final and SP1 on different computers and though on many occasions the only available drivers have been designed for Win XP, the PCs have worked.

I don’t think your issue is program related; of course I could be wrong. That your issue gets worst after installing certain programs doesn’t necessarily point to a program issue. I still believe that Crabby’s suggestion about your RAM modules play a part with your issues.

1. Your correct on your mobo manufacture not having any Bios updates..
2. Your mobo is not recommended for use with Vista .. that is why they are not updating the bios..
3. When you insert the DVD is has option to check memory.. or you can check memory with out the DVD. since you only have 1GB of memory that will also make your Desktop run at laptop speed. slower than XP. normally.
3a. start --> admin tools --> memory diagnostics and follow instructions.

using you code errors and running thru the MS Knowledge Data base.
Which to me indicate you have programs which are causing problems, and possible due to mobo not being accredited and bios being out dated.
The following is noted.

code error: BCP1: 83FFFFE4 = code hangs in systemstartupfunc
code error: BCP2: 00000002 = possible registery corruption
code error: BCP3: 00000000 = Fixes a problem that occurs when a program stops but does not release all the resources that it was using. When another program tries to use those resources ...
Quote:
from MS data base:CAUSE
This problem occurs because a program that is running on your Windows -based computer causes an access violation and stops responding. When the program stops responding, the program may not release all the resources that it was using. If another program tries to use a resource that is allocated to the program that stopped responding, an access violation occurs in kernel mode. This access violation causes the Stop error.
code error: BCP4: 81CBCDA4 = Irql_not_less_or_equal - bad drivers/not compatible with OS.

So probably the only way to change this is to upgrade to a better system?

A newer mobo (VISTA compatible) and more(2GB) faster DDR2 memory would help, but basically your error codes say (PROBLEMS are PROGRAMS and BAD DRIVERS.) and if I'm correct your running Vista x64 which has more problems than x86.
