Can you update Vista at all? My PC doesn't show that path either, something went astray or was deleted.

I believe the romaing profile may be a temporary one during installation of the operating system. Can any one find where these shortcuts are kept? (As with XP there must be a place where the shortcuts are shown within the file system)

I am logged on as Administrator. I have no user account (Thats my preferred setup when testing or using) I do have the path to the "roaming" directory. I am not sure if it is relevant to this discussion, but I removed the update feature at the top of the START menu and normally access it through the Control Panel. I am not able, therefore, to simulate this fault. But... Regarding the path. Mine is Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\St art Menu

I am also using RC2, spot the difference in my path - I can't!

Add later: P.S. I didn't point out that this path is visible on my computer and exists in all aspects, and can be used.
