Hey Everybody, I hope this hasn'y been done to death on here! I've had my PC for just over a year, and about 6 months ago it suddenly stopped letting me access either amazon or paypal - it simply sayd that "internet explorer encountered a problem". I've tried using firefox and safari but with the same results. I have a feeling I might have some type of virus/ spyware, but I've scanned with AVG and Super Antispyware and nothing shows up. Any ideas you might have would be great! Cheers Robin |

| I don’t think it has anything to do with malware. Try this: Open IE7 > Select Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Scroll all the way down and ensure "Use SSl 3.0" is selected. If 3.0 is already selected, then try this: …Internet Options > Security tab > Click on Trusted sites > Click Sites > Ad the website address, i.e. Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more or https://www.paypal.com/. I don’t recommend selecting SSL 2.0 as is not as secured as 3.0.
