Forum Post I have a rather unusual issue with my Vista PC. Everytime I turn off my display it turns itself back on. Setup: Motherboard - Intel DG965OT Operating System - Vista Home Premium TV Tuner - ATI TV Wonder 650 Video Card - Asus EN7300LE 256Mb Display - Viewsonic N3260W connected via HDMI Troubleshooting: If I disconnect the HDMI cable the TV will stay off. If I turn off the PC then the TV, the TV will stay off. If I wait for the Vista power setings to turn the monitor off and then turn the TV off it will stay off. I connected my WinXP maching via HDMI and the TV will stay off without issue. However, as long as there is an active signal from my Vista PC going to my TV it keeps turning itself on. When I try to turn the TV off, it shuts down for about 5 seconds, the LED shows red meaning DPMS (Display Power Management Signalling) is active, and then it comes back on. I have been troubleshooting this for a couple days now (as time has allowed) and I'm quite thoroughly baffled. Has anyone else come across a similar issue? |

| Let it be noted that Viewsonic has Vista problems... there are many different problems noted about Viewsonic... and Vista... please check and feedback to Viewsonic about this problem.
