| The icons on my desk top are huge...more than double the size of my XP icons at the same reolution. Went to the display properties and it displayed an icon size of "32". I changed it to "16" but the icon size did not change.. they just got closer together. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

| start --> control panel --> personalize --> color appearance --> classic Appearance --> Advanced scrowl down to Icons Vertical right hand side enter -17 where the 0 is. ok and close back to Desktop --> refresh

| But on my desktop and laptop the icons are set to medium and are already small...if I go to Classic they become very small. So there has to be another reason why yours become large when set to medium. I believe medium is the default setting. |
