| I don't think Disk Cleanup will be of much help. Is 'D' drive a partition or is it a separate hard drive? If you only have one drive installed then 'D' drive is a partition and you may be able to increase its size. However, that depends on how large the hard drive is and how much room you have left on the 'C' drive. Please tell us a little bit about your PC so we can provide you some advice on how to proceed. |

| For the info that is need to really assist you. suggest you Download BELARC (it is FREE) run the program. then save as .txt open in notepad remove the KEYS or Serial Numbers , then resave and post so it can be viewed by the local GURU's... without knowing more exact info on your system. it will be VERY HARD to assist properly. | Why did you reformat the HD? Did you reformat the whole drive or just the "D" drive? Did HP tell you to reformat and why? If that's the case, that's not a good advice. Another thing is that most PC sold with a "C" and "D" partition have "Documents" on Vista or "My Documents" on Win XP point to the "D" drive. Every document a user creates is automatically saved within the "D" drive. If the drive is formatted, all documents can be lost. Did you have the Sleep issue before reformatting the drive? |

and Why did HP tell you to FORMAT instead of using RESTORE Disk, or the Restore option in the computer. Woops: Checking the Web site. HP 8000 is a Laserjet printer.. with 2000 sheet tray. The Actual Model would help instead of the generic.
