Every once in a while some of the icons on my desktop all change to one icon. It is always the same programs that change, and they all change to the same icon. They revert back to their original if I use them. I do not see any pattern to it and am not sure what is causing it. Any Ideas?        |

| Make sure you have "index" set for the HDD where those programs are located, and make sure the shortcut link is correct. If you click delete and the shortcut is incorrect, it can cause your browser to stop working... 2 different ways to fix .... 1. make sure the shortcut is correct. 2. make sure the HDD location is "indexed" There are several known Virus that like to play with icon/shortcut locations, and they also like to REDIRECT you. Hackers use this to gain information.
