do you know how to fix it, if i set mi desktop icons size to small they show a black square only, the only way to view them is to set the desktop icons large. i Will really appreciate any help

I take it you have used the Vista Shortcut Overlay Remover in the past? this is a bug with the program. However the new version sorts this issue out.
