documents folder

In the past two days, every once in awhile the folder "Documents" is randomly placed on my desktop with no one doing it. Except that when I looked in the folder(the one on the desktop and the original still in the "Users > my name" folder) both of them were empty. Nothing really important was in that folder, just game profiles & saves. Why is this happening? Has anyone had a similar problem?

I have checked for spyware and viruses and nothing was found.

Do you have the folder to show on your dekstop? Right-click Desktop > Select Personalize > Change desktop icons (see snip)
