HI People, I am back here and with Vista. Things were going great after I installed Vista and got quite a few updates from Microsoft. Anyway, I installed some of my programs, AVG Antivirus, and AM Browser, but nothing more in install from the net or even download. Things look like they're downloading, but when I go to find them there is only an empty Documents folder.

Were are you downloading them to by default it is the download file in your user profile if that is not the case check to make sure you are downloading them to the correct folder.

I have tried downloading to the default 'downloads' folder, documents, desktop, and even the other hard drive. I have tried from several differnt websites to install over the internet. I can save pictures as, though I can't yet download files.

That really is strange. So you click to download something, you tell it where to put it, and when it's done it doesnt appear?

What happens if you run IE7 as an admin?
