Davehc is on a distinguished road

I am lucky, in asmuch as all my needed drivers do install. So I have never had to think too hard about this problem. But how about installing an earlier version of Vista, one which you know will install. Then , without wasting time configuring, just go into the advanced options and select the option to ignore unsigned drivers . Now perhaps, if you install your latest Beta from within that exisiting one, it may install????

felix8406 will become famous soon enough

Davehc has a good suggestion that might work. If someone has tried this, let us know how it went.

There's a thread in this forum concerning unassigned drivers. I think Crabby and I discussed the issue. The biggest issue is that if the unassigned driver has a security flaw, it can allow hackers to attack the PC. That's a huge problem with XP and which MS got blamed for. Not just that, but MS had to put the cash to find a solution and fix the problem.
