Err like no Internet access!!

loaded Vista fine, well it wouldn't do a clean install wanted some IDE drivers because it couldn't "access the drive" which was a bit weird, so stuck it on a slave drive and booted via the primary multi boot option - hey worked!

But now no loading IE7 - page just hangs - fully connected to my network all looks fine but nothing

Close Vista, boot to XP from the primary and here I am works fine, any ideas??

Have you tried to narrow it down to a possible browser issue vs. a Vista issue? i.e. Have you tried to use Firefox or Opera? Would be helpful to know if it is just IE7 that is the problem, or internet connectivity in general.

As Dazzlin asked, have you tried any other basic connectivity checks, even a simple shell ping to see if you can get out?

Does your machine have a proper ip?

Hi There.

You've the same problem I had (see earlier post "Internet Explorer Crashing")
Try resetting the Internet Explorer Settings, this worked for me (and someone else with similar problems)

Instructions on resetting explorer settings are all detailed here......

Good Luck!
