Your Sound Card problem, is it an Onboard Card or an Expansion PCI type? Please list the model and perhaps someone could look into if it is supported for you if you don't know where to look yourself? Remember, this is only a Beta version and shouldn't be used as your primary operating system on your regular PC - if you're trying to listen to music and your sound card isn't supported on Vista, you'll have to either Revert back to XP to listen to your music and wait for your card to be supported, or nip out and purchase a compatible card. For reference what is your full system spec? |

| yeh im having exaclty the same problems...My specs are: AMD athlon 64 (3200) Nvidia 6600GT 1GB ram Gigabyte K8n-SLI motherboard I am running vista beta 2 (x64) and after installing the latest forceware drivers from nvida i see no options for the 6600GT where i can change antialiasing, etc. Also ive downloaded the latest driver for my soundcard which is integrated in the motherboard off windows update. It worked perfect after installing it but then when i restart the computer mp3's from WMP starts stuttering during normal usage. Also games are running alot slower. Does anyone else have these issues as well with thir video card or sound cards? Any help would be appreciated Thanks. |
