Flip 3D bug

I found a bug!! lol... no supprise there!

To get it do this:

Close all programs apart from one. so leave ie open or wmp or somthing but make sure its just one program.

Now press with windows key + tab to bring up the flip 3D. Now scroll from your program to the desktop then exit flip 3D then go back to flip 3D and flip to the program you left open. youll now see that it just goes to the next top even tho you chose the program. It only dose this when one program is open. If theres more open then it works fine. Im on build 5472.

Must admit I haven't tried If the bug crashed the system or stopped something from working then I would be trying to recreate it, but it just looks like a coding issue. The reason for it is because they have added the desktop to the sequence. Original Alt+Tab works on the principle of there being more than 1 program open, and so if you only have 1 then it doesn't even show up in xp. So someone thought 'Hey we have a snazzy desktop, lets do snazzy stuff with it' and has leeched the old Alt+tab code and changed the interface without fully coding for the added features. It's a simple mistake and has nowt to do with hardware issues, will be picked up at some point I'm sure.

Nice to see people experimenting though

Happy 50th... you have taken the right approach to the bug. Most people would just slam Microsoft and not bother informing them.

Have been unable to recreate the bug Sean... prob just another inconsistency in the install That sucks because it means it happens at random and isn't the fault of the programming. The install is rather ropey, which doesnt bode well for RC1 either.

Have heard the pre-RC1 is awesome, so RC1 should be too. Might as well wait for it before reinstalling, I would think.
