ghost on screen

Now my problem is when I right click on something(not everytime) the window appears light grey, then it'll be white and I can click copy, paste or whatever I'm trying to do but whatever I've clicked on appears to be burned into the screen and it doesn't go away until I restart the computer. Maybe it's the display driver? Computer says its working fine but this isn't my only issue with it.

Well, updating drivers is usually a good way to solve these sorts of problems, however, anyone who comes with more than 1 major issue, I believe, should start from scratch as their install must have some quite fundemental installation problems.

I did a reformat and that problem is gone. The desktop thing with the picture with no border when centered isnt fixed so I guess I'll just live with it. I'm starting to think it's just a gateway issue.

By chance what type of monitor are you using...?
Are you using the MS (WDDM) drivers or Dell drivers?
Most Video related problems can be solved by using MS (WDDM) drivers.
which I have made many references to on VB.
