I just installed Vista RC1 on my system and I cant get Vista to use my graphics card. I pick it up, but says that "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)." I have tried to install the ATI driver for Vista, but that hasnt helped it at all. Any suggestions? |

| Also have that card, when my newer card stopped working popped it in and it worked fine. I would say to start off with get rid of the ATI drivers and use vista built in drivers first of all and see if that works. You can uninstall the driver then delete the graphic card from the Device manager and reboot. If the vista driver works then download the latest and greatest ATI driver for vista and install it. Also what manufacturer is your card? sometimes specific manufacturers tweak the cards and only use the chipset from ATI or NVidia so you should go to the manufacturer website to get the driver instead of ATI.
