felix8406 will become famous soon enough

You may try one of these tools, however, keep in mind that there's always the possibility of loosing some data. In the feature, you should create a password recovery disk just in case this situation present itself again:

reset password

Quote:
To reset the password for a local user account

Open Computer Management.

In the console tree, click Users.

Where?

Computer Management\System Tools\Local Users and Groups\Users

Right-click the user account for which you want to reset the password, and then click Set Password.

Read the warning message, and if you want to continue, click Proceed.

In New password and in Confirm password, type a new password, and then click OK.

Additional considerations
To perform this procedure, you must provide credentials for the Administrator account on the local computer (if you are prompted), or you must be a member of the Administrators group on the local computer.

Strong passwords improve computer and network security.

Resetting a local account password for a user may result in some data loss for that user if the user has encrypted data or alternate Internet passwords.

Nope..Its fully legal...

"Ophcrack is an open source (GPL license) program that cracks Windows LM hashes using rainbow tables. It can crack 99.9% of alphanumeric passwords of up to 14 characters in usually a few seconds, and at most a few minutes. There is also a LiveCD version which automates the retrieval, decryption, and cracking of passwords from a Windows system.

Starting with version 2.3, Ophcrack also cracks NT hashes."
