After you try Felix suggestions, if they do not work
1. You might reinstall IE7, using the stand along version.
2. or try repair of the Vista Install.
3. then try SFC /scannow

and I have phishing off, reason connections are very slow here, and really takes a long time, (not everybody has FAST internet).

We stay up to past 11:30PM to see Fast Internet here, WOW i see jumps from 750 kbs to 1.2mbs with a max spurt to 1.8mbs at times... anything over 750 looks fast to us...and to dl a movie in DVD it takes all nite ...

I had already tried to add it to the trusted sites and it would still not work. And it would not let me on my.yahoo.com or mail.yahoo.com
