Unhappy IE going crazy

If I close a tab that isn't done loading, new window after new window pops up trying to load the url of the page I just closed. The only way to end it is the task panel. If I let it run it will open +100 new windows.

OH GAWD HELP!

Click the 'Reset' button.

It takes over my computer so that I can't do anything but Ctrl Alt Delete.
I've tried to screen shot it but it borks things so much I can't do that either.

Maybe you need to check for malware. You can use Windows Defender and Microsoft Suspicious Software Removal Tool.

It's been doing it since the beginning, but I'll give it a shot.

If that doesn’t work, try resetting IE7.

Click Start > Type Internet Options in Search Box and hit Enter > Go to the Advanced tab > Under “Reset Internet Explorer settings" click Reset.

So far I'm good. I hope this doesn't jinx it!

The keyboard that came with my new computer is squeeking already but I don't think that's a vista issue. :P

Squeaky keyboard syndrome hey? That can be fixed by.... smashing the keyboard to bits and buying a nice one for less than $20
