I have been in computers since the early 1980's and have tried every browser that has came along... always went back to Explorer. I prefer the IE7 Pro addon my self, which I currently use.

btw - Opera has some nice features like mouse geastures, better transfers etc. You are just using IE and you are satisfied because you didnt try a better one
Like my granddaughter says "you funny".

and again since you stated.

And it has nothing to do with the Opera, it is all the same in IE, Mozilla, Opera (I have 9,23)
I'm sure your install is corrupt or you have a bad case of TROJAN, Virus or Malware. and you never said if you turned off the 'PHISHING" Filter in IE which Opera uses.
So again I recommend you:
Quote:
1. I'd open start --> cmd (run as admin) type SFC /scannow and see if it can find a Corrupt system file. (NO)
2. Try a complete REPAIR using the Install DVD. (NO)
3. Run every Trojan cleaner you can find. (NO)
4. Run a complete Virus check. (NO)
5. FORMAT and do a complete Clean install. (before you do this you might try to restore back to when it worked correctly.)

crabby - I think it can be connected to something like this.
I have IP protocol 6 turned off. Im through classic IP4. If I set it to automatic it cannot find the rooter. I set it manually - it is OK for sure.

But maybe some rooter settings ate blocking some of the sites etc.

For example this two links dont work for me -
http://www.simplyseafoods.co.uk/pict...page%20pic.jpg
http://www.replicafish.co.uk/Sailfis....jpg%20wow.jpg

and when I delete the www in them, they sudenlly work.

Snuffy - Yes I agree that my install can be corrupt, but I want to try as much as I can before reinstall (I have really huge bunch of programs, and they are all modified etc). And I dont think it is a trojan, maleware or virus. This internet issue begins from the beginning of vistas life)
(I have searched for adware, remove some objects - problem still the same. I will try to search for virus leter today)

And yes I have turned the "pishing" filter off in IE.

Change your router IP to 192.168.0.1 and then use the automatic settings?

my router setting is 192.168.1.1
subnet here is 255.255.255.0
both www sites open for me perfect. love the fish...
IP4 and IP6 both running, both set to find automatic
have you tried start --> cmd (run as admin) --> ipconfig /all

on the corrupt files you do not need to reinstall...
cmd (run as admin)--> SFC /scannow - have your install DVD ready. if there are any corrupt it will then repair them...

what does modified mean?

Have your checked this site: The default behavior of Internet Explorer for handling user information in HTTP and in HTTPS URLs
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/834489/en-us

Also some key loggers make this fail due to not being able to redirect correctly.

Yes, I see the fish with blue sails. but why is that cute gal ?? out of proportion. Did you make her that way deliberately.

Love that HARD WOOD boat.

Great pic. very nice.

crabby - hehe I have modeled it in 3dsmax

Snuffy - she is not out of proportions but some objects that are around are. I made them recently and dont tweak the proportions yet. As I said it is a part of a bigger picture, I will tweak the proportions later, thanks

here is the lower half of the pic
