Heya having major problems with my laptop at the mo and now im trying to re-install itunes(after having to re-install vista as a whole) and all i get is a message saying the application is not valid.Its doin my tits in

Sounds like the download is corrupt... I'd try redownloading it. If that doesnt work could you use the snipping tool to show us the actual error?

iTunes 8 has just came out this week, just wondering did you download the new version or are you still using version 7?

Try version 8 here

If its not that simple just come back and i will do further research.
