Ok.. so i want my sata2 hdd connected to this controller BUT in vista it just wont work.. if i connect the drive to it then set in the bios to use it as RAID/AHCI and then try and boot in vista i just get a BSOD with the error: STOP 0x0000007B (0x82406BB0, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) When i installed vista it was a clean install and i loaded the drivers for the jmicron363 so vista could see the drive.. it copies a load of files and works fine untill after the first restart... thats when i get the BSOD.. i have to use one of the standard sata connecters insted so i can use vista. In windows xp this works perfectly fine with no problems Anyone got any insight as to why this is happening? |
