| I have just brought a logitech webcam which clearly states Vista approved. Well it installed and worked first time except that i have lost my sound. Everything is correct in device manager and you can test the speakers in the sound tab in control panel, but it will not make a sound when using a CD or windows media player! I have spoken to Logitech but they have no answer. I have uninstalled the driver and the cam and started again but still no sound, i then done a system restore to before i installed the cam but still no sound! Weird! Anyway i have a nice webcam but no sound, is there a genius out there! Please! I suspect a mic problem/conflict any other thoughts! |

| It's actually an issue with the sound chip. I'd say you have.... oooooo... realtek HD audio integrated sound? If not it doesn't matter! crabby |

Hi, my sound card is a Creative Audigy 4, i hope someone can help! I have also come across another problem, when i try to load a game the error: gameux.dll is missing from the Windows 32 folder appears! I have checked the net and it seems a lot of people have the same problem, without any answer. I do have my Vista OEM disk but am unable to find that file! P.S. the games still works so it is not the end of the world, Yet! Many Thanks to all who can help. ![]() Gameux.dll Problem Sorted! Last edited by wolfie : 07-31-2007 at 10:26 AM. |

| The Audigy 4 has known Vista issues. Try getting the newest drivers from here : http://us.creative.com/support/downl...pe=0&x=24&y=17 (32 bit) http://us.creative.com/support/downl...0&x=30&y=11(64 bit) Many people still have issues even with these drivers but its worth a shot! crabby |
