Major Problem


Hi all

has anyone seen vista do this i`ve posted pics below...they where taken on my laptop but its fixed now its my desktop....

Yeah i did get it once... i restarted into safe mode, and reinstalled the vge drivers.. as in normal maode as you can see its hard to do stuff since you cant see anything!

Ive never seen that but now and then ive had a strange desktop bug that leaves a ghost image of a window that was just opened on the desktop and I have to open another window and kindof rub it out like an erazer hehe.

I haven't experienced that one myself (knock on wood) but glad you was able to fix it.

when that happens have you tried right click in a open space then REFRESH,
or open View and make sure show Desktop is checked...
have you ran Defender? ran all your malware removers, spyware removers, antiVirus checkers...

I have figured out what it was....It was Ares P2P..It has compatabilty issues with vista :S...

Some simular to that has also been found with BAD VIDEO DRIVERS. called BETA. Seems it also depends on other programs installed. and exactly which Video Card your using..

yes thats what MS thought but once i uninstalled Ares P2P it all went away

But its not a problem anymore i have decied to go back to XP and have been useing XP pro for about 2 weeks now

Too much of my software didn`t run undervista and also i didn`t have that much ram to run what i wanted..i`m getting a upgrade to 1.2Gb this week sometime
