You do not have to have RAID install for SATA drives to work... check your BIOS settings. It depends on your BIOS.. I had one BSOD when running a HD speed test... It caused my BOOT device to change, I had to use F11 and reset my boot drive to SATA.. and I have disabled RAID in the SATA settings and NO MORE BSOD...

| sawman try for startup repair anf if not possible go for system restore, 1.Insert Vista DVD hit f12 2.go to onboard cdrom device,ensure that the dvd is in the top drive 3.once hit emter on onboard cdrom,immediately without waiting hit space bar then it goes to menu options,select safemode fro system setup,windows vista insatall screen comes up.select repair windows.go to startup repair and see whether th eprob is fixed or not,if doesnot work go to sys restore,at same options and restore computer first day and see what haapens. ![]() |
