Unhappy Mini DV driver not there anymore

I recently installed the Vista version of Adobe Premier Elements.

I have used the Premier product in my XP environment for a number of years using my JVC SR-VS30U as my input for Mini DV tapes from my camera.

XP SP2 has the drivers for this device, but Vista does not. I have searched the web for several hours with no luck.

Any ideas???

crabby is on a distinguished road

It's strange that they would remove the driver. Are you using 64 bit now whereas XP was 32 bit for instance? I have been unable to find a driver for it online.

Both are 32 bit - Although my system supports 64 bit, the support for it is not there yet. I would really like to use the JVC because it lets me access a Super VHS device which lets me import some of my older movies.
