On my other thread about the floppy problem, there was something in the pic of my Device Manager that caught my eye. There was a yellow exclamation point next to a "MS 6to4 Adapter". It reported that it could not load the drivers for the device with a code 31. I had no idea what this was and the only MS hardware piece I use is a LaserMouse 6000. After snooping around a bit I discovered this article at MS Support:
