| Well... at least we know what the problem was now! If you PC can't get to POST then the issue is either CPU, RAM or the motherboard. Do you have a BIOS speaker attached? I ask because if it is an issue with either the RAM or CPU then the BIOS should make an audible beep. If there is no beep then the motherboard is probably dead. The motherboard always takes something with it, so if the RAM smells of TCP then it's bust, otherwise the CPU may have blew. You should check your RAM in your other PC to see if it still works. Did you make this PC? And if so, did you use thermal paste on the CPU? Did all the fans work correctly? If any of the parts are in warranty... you should be able to get them replaced free of charge as DoA crabby |
