After tons of searches over the past year- I'm hoping someone here can help me. I bought a new DELL computer with Vista installed a little over a year ago and for the first 3 months or so- was able to get into any of the sites I could with my XP. All of a sudden last May- I noticed when I'd go into myspace- there were a few pictures that were just "red X". It was just a few pics in of my friends list. I thought nothing of it as I figured MS was busy or whatever. But a couple days later.. a couple more pics were down. This progressed from having 100% pictures just FINE- to 100% pictures NOT showing AT ALL. Not even a red X at times. Now, every picture in ANY on the MS website is a torn image on the Vista. I can see everything PERFECT on my old XP. I have cleared my cache, I have shut down my firewall, I have tried EVERYTHING I have seen suggested on the net. I can see most peoples pictures if shown on their MS page in a slideshow. I can also see all the MS graphics- those used to decorate their MS- but I cannot see ANY pictures that anyone has uploaded into their MS. Not even my own. I have to upload and set them up on my old XP. Ironicly, I cannot see MY OWN slideshow added with MySpace slideshow gear (I CAN see it perfectly on XP). YET, have one slideshow I put on there from photobucket- that shows up just perfect on the PC using Vista. THAT is the *only* form of photo I can view on MS at all. Just the one from PhotoBucket. This pertains to ALL the MS accounts on there. All my friends or my own. I can see nothing but torn images in the place of the profile picture OR in the albums etc. Any ideas? I am so darn frustrated and tired of having to go back and forth constantly Thank you in advance! I am running Vista Home Premium |

| THe phising filter is basically an add on to IE7 which checks the websites content. It can make things REAL slow sometimes. When you go to a site you'll see right at the bottom of the window, in the middle, a picture of a window with a green bar going across it. That's the filter! Right click it and you can disable it. See if that helps, and if it doesn't please post back. crabby |

| Are you sure you are clicking the right thing? It really should give you the option to disable it. Oh well, we'll do it the other way... Press Alt and go to tools at the top, you should see a line called Phishing filter. Go to that and then press the option, Turn off automatic website checking. Post back! crabby |
