I have Vista Ultimate but do not have the options to Add Printer or Performance and Rating from the Control Panel. I have seen on microsoft.com and read on many forums how to set these and they all say these options should be available from the Control Panel options, but they're not there. Any ideas ? |

| In classic view you should have a folder named printers if not then we have a problem and the performance informations is the other and system will take you to the WEI rating in the classic control panel which looks like XP

| I have neither of these options in either view, classic or Vista in Contraol panel. Everywhere I've seen screenshots show these available, but for some reason on my setup they're not. I did read somewhere that if you upgrade any hardware (I installed extra RAM) then the rating will have to be reset (don't know how/why) but I don't think I've ever had the Add Printer Wizard or Printers in Control Panel available either. |

| To update you score click on system then on the Window experience index and then on the next page click update your score and as far as the printer thing goes have no idea yet with that problem. Have you tried the add new hardware in the control panel to add printer and I know that does not fix the problem that you do not have add printer in control panel

| I don't have WEI link/option available anywhere. I am now wondering if all these problems are due to the fact that I have an OEM version of Vista Ultimate which was clean installed over the preloaded Vista Home Basic. I have found option to Add a printer from the network icon however, clicking/double clicking this doesn't do anything. Whereas I would expect it to startup the Add Printer Wizard. Will keep searching. Thanks for your help and suggestions. |
