When i click on the Control Panel link inside the start menu, an explorer box opens the only problem is that there are no Icons inside, i can click switch to "classic view" still nothing
any ideas?

My brother has the exact same problem...he's still trying to figure it out and ended up removing it altogether..are you getting anywhere?

As a last resort, reinstalling might solve the problem. I have no other suggestions.
