I have a problem upgrading my Nvidia display driver from version 100.65 to 101.41: I have a 7950 GX2 and the 100.65 dirver only recognizes one of the two GPUs. So I downloaded the 101.41 drivers from Nvidia. I closed my anti-virus software, uninstalled the old driver and installed the new ones. The problem is that under device manager, both GPUs show up but one has a yellow exclamation mark. That is actually the one running (or trying to) the new 101.41 driver, the other one still runs the 100.65 driver. When I press the update driver button the system updates the driver with the result that both GPUs are back to 100.65 and still only one GPU actually works. Also, I noticed that while I uninstalled the old drivers using "Programs and Features" from the control panel, they are still installed. I have no idea how to actually remove them correctly from the system. Maybe that is the problem? Any help? |

| If you extract the new drivers to a folder of your choice... you can then 'Update driver' and choose the 101.41 driver to be used manually. Have you tried that? (Device mangaer -> Display Adapters -> NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 -> Properties -> Driver update -> Browse my computer for driver software -> Then select the folder with the driver you want. Once they are both up to 101.41, tell us if it sorts the problem or not crabby |

| I checked with Nvidia... and in their current drivers only 1 of the GPUs is active and working... they plan to update the driver within the next month to include both GPUs apparantly. You may want to email them crabby |

| The 101.41 drivers are still in beta, but should support both GPUs according to this update. |
