Have you ever noticed that with onboard sound on a motherboard if you turn the volume up on your speakers you can here "noise"? And if you say, scroll down in an IE window or any window for that matter you can actually hear the scolling?.. this is interferance from the components on the motherboard.. if you got a PCI or USB sound card then you wont get this.. i was just wondering if anyone knows if this noise can be stopped or filtered out in some way? |

| 1. Make sure to install the latest driver for the sound card. 2. Lower the volume from Media Player and use the speaker volume control instead. 3. When buying PC speakers, look for shielded speakers, and don’t use home speakers with a PC...they are not shielded 4. Although this may seem obvious, make sure the speakers are plugged in to the proper sound card jack. 5. Use shorter speaker wires. This will help prevent radio interference. 6. Try moving the speakers around until you find a place with minimal interference. 7. Although you cannot do much with your neighbor’s car, make sure all ignition wires in your car are tight and in good condition. Any current from the engine high-shielded wires can be pick up by the PC speakers. Open up the hood when is dark outside and using a spray water, spray the wires. If you see sparks, your wires may need replacing. |
