When I try to change the background, windows only displays one default icon instead of an icon for each picture. I cannot see the picture until it is selected and placed on the desktop as a background. With beta 2 I used to see the icon for each picture. Has anyone else having this problem? See attachment. | Wow, that would be sort of annoying. I have not had that problem. If it helps, it is not impossible to find where the "Vistas" are stored (I could help if interested). Assuming your "Pictures" folder works right, then you could store them there.

| Yes crabby I thought about that. I am having basically the same problems on my laptop that I do on my pc. There's a possibility that he downloaded file is currupted. Right now all I can do is wait for the next release to come out. From what I heard I won't have to wait for long. |

About a month aga I posted an issue I had with my backgound icons, where I coud not see a picture, but just one default icon instead (see attachment). Well, I found the culprit. My laptop is not as fast as my desktop, so I adjusted windows visual effect to "Adjust for best performance". Since I wanted better performance, Windows lower the graphics' quality to provide more rosurces to performance rather than appearance. |
